The light-hearted chair.
What's better, on a beautiful day, than sitting in the sun with friends, intertwining light conversations with sincere laughter? Then you'll want to arrange the chairs so you can face each other. That's exactly why we designed a lightweight chair! The New Guinea stackable outdoor chair is supported by an extruded aluminum frame, while the armrest is molded from die-cast aluminum. This makes it extremely easy to handle and move, completely rust-resistant, and recyclable. The backrest and seat are made of a woven recyclable polypropylene webbing. The webbing is specially designed to be pleasant to the touch, ensuring comfort and mechanical stability.

Weave your magic.
The main innovation of this aluminium chair lies in the manufacturing process and the ease of disassembly. In particular, the backrest and seat introduce a groundbreaking design: a woven upholstery that attaches to the frame via a quick mechanical fastening system. Unlike traditional woven chairs, this allows for component replacement and allows any non-specialized person to quickly disassemble the object. At the end of the chair's life cycle, the components can be separated in a few seconds.
Easy as one-two-three.
Meticulous research and prototype testing led us to explore the weaving of various materials, ultimately defining a pattern that, by alternating a wide and a narrow webbings, allows for the creation of chromatic effects for one-, two-, or three-color coverings. To make the product as sustainable as possible, both in terms of production and ease of disassembly and disposal, we conceived the weave as a prefabricated product used as a macroscopic textile covering, applied to the frame and easily removed, replaced, or discarded.
WANDERLUST
Think big!
Making your way through ferns and swaying orchids in the dense tangle of New Guinea's lush rainforest, you might suddenly feel dwarfed by that interweaving of stems. Only to realize that everything else has grown! Just like the weave of the New Guinea chair, which looks like fabric zoomed in: soft, colorful, and perfectly ready to withstand torrential rain, tropical sun, and ocean spray.
